The Scottish Rite Foundation of Georgia, Inc. was founded Aug 26,1980. Its purpose is to give financial aid to gifted Georgia students, who are legal residents of Georgia, are U.S. citizens, and plan to or are attending universities or colleges in the state of Georgia. Looking at today's high tuition costs can be a shock for any parent. If parents weren't able to start an early savings program then there are still many sources of financial help available. One is the Scottish Rite Foundation of Georgia, Inc., and we want to help as many Georgia students as possible. Undergraduate scholarships only are available for deserving Georgia young men and women seeking higher education in Georgia colleges. No graduate scholarships are available at this time.
The Foundation grants a maximum of $1000 a year to qualified Georgia students who seek help for their careers. Thus we activate the words of Albert Pike, "What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal". We want to help the young students of Georgia, for they are our country's future.
